These two are so incredibly adorable! Rachel and Steve’s Quiet Waters Park Engagement Session was so much fun to photograph! They came into the session feeling nervous and saying they were not “good at being cute”… but they certainly showed us otherwise! ;)
We had rescheduled their session due to weather way back in the beginning of summer, so we were so incredibly grateful for a beautiful summer night in Annapolis… even when they were calling for rain again! This summer’s weather has been crazy!!

Sarah and Eddie! Ahhh! These two! They are two people with an energy that we wish we could bottle up and bring with us everywhere we go! (Or, maybe they could just come along with us everywhere we go?!? Maybe?! ;) ) They have hearts of GOLD and family surrounding them that literally light up the room!
As Sarah and Eddie prepared for their wedding celebration, they focused on what was most important to them! Celebrating their love and the love around them! When describing their table markers that were pictures from their family member’s weddings, they said, “We want to have a nod to the ‘village’ it takes to have a happy and long-lasting marriage. Without our family and their ideals, commitment and love, we wouldn’t be embarking on this journey together in such an excited place.” Ahhh! Amen to that! Seriously, we just love them! Did I mention they took the time on their wedding day to stop by an assisted living facility to see their 99 year old Great Grandmother who could not make it to the wedding at the last minute. Their love runs deep and that is what a wedding celebration is all about!
Sarah and Eddie definitely started their married lives off in an excited place! In fact, they were so excited, it was like they did not even notice it was raining outside! It rained like we have never seen rain before… and it lasted ALL DAY! It wasn’t just a shower here and there. It poured all day! And I am happy to report those raindrops were absolutely FULL OF LOVE!!! So much love!
Sarah and Eddie, thank you for being such a BEAUTIFUL example of love to us, and everyone around you! Thank you for recognizing the AMAZING love in your lives and celebrating that! You two literally light up our hearts and we are so incredibly excited for you as you embark on this next chapter of your lives together!
After living in Philadelphia for a few months during college while I was doing an Internship with the Philadelphia Eagles, we always welcome the opportunity to go back! We LOVE Philly and love exploring Philly with others who also LOVE Philly! ;)
Stephanie and Greg asked us to capture some photos of them at a few of their favorite places around the city we all love! They sent us the list of the locations, The Ben Franklin Bridge, Elfreth’s Alley, City Hall, and Franklin Square. Besides City Hall, these are all locations that we have never explored! What a treat to be able to see more of the city we love while capturing some Anniversary photos for Stephanie and Greg!!!
We wandered through Philadelphia on a beautiful Sunday evening and soaked it all in! It was good to be “home” and super good to hang out with Stephanie and Greg celebrating their love almost a year into their marriage! Did I mention we ended the evening with Ice Cream and Franklin Fountain?!? ;) So FUN!
Photographing weddings is a complete honor for us! Every single wedding we are blessed to witness and capture is so incredibly special in our hearts! However, photographing destination weddings always seem to add on an additional level of responsibility and humble gratitude in our hearts! To be asked to travel with a couple to a destination of their choice with a few of their family and friends is such an honor that we do not take lightly! Our job is to capture memories for the couple to be able to relive this very special moment in their lives together… but it is also our responsibility to document and capture their celebration in a way that they can share with so many of their family and friends!… With Destination Weddings, that is often a large group of family and friends who could not make the trip with them and are extra excited to celebrate!
We spent a few days in St. Lucia with Tracy and Joe and a few of their closest family and friends for their St. Lucia Destination Wedding! We had so much fun celebrating with them and sharing in their excitement to finally take this next step in their relationship together! We witnessed a heartfelt ceremony and captured memories that they surely will never forget! There is something magical about being in such a gorgeous location and hearing the ocean waves crash behind you as you exchange wedding rings and say your vows! It was truly magical.
Tracy and Joe… you are right… this celebration was for YOU and it was the perfect way for you to celebrate your love together! We are so proud of you for following your hearts and starting your marriage in a way that speaks so much to you! Thank you so so so much for the opportunity to be there with you throughout this incredibly AMAZING time in your lives together!!! We are so honored to have been able to capture the memories for you to relive over and over and over again for many many years ahead and for your family and friends who are just as excited as we are to be cheering you on in your marriage and celebrating right along with you!!!
During the best man speeches at Katie and Danny’s Tidewater Inn Easton Wedding, Danny’s brother, Patrick, described Danny as someone who always sees the best in everything! He is the kind of guy who would describe every meal he eats as the best meal he has ever enjoyed. Patrick went on to say, he knows that Danny will wake up every day and be grateful for his wife, Katie… the most beautiful girl he has ever seen (even more beautiful each and every day!)!
There is no doubt in our mind that is in fact the truth! I overheard Danny quite a few times on their wedding day describing how happy he was to be marrying Katie and how absolutely gorgeous she is. How happy is that? Their smiles pretty much sum up their happiness together! ;) They radiate when they are together and their excitement to be married exploded from their hearts!
Katie and Danny are two beautiful people who know how to have fun! I kept thinking over and over again during the reception that if we ever are in need of some fun, we are calling Katie and Danny! ;)
