Poconos Wedding | Erin and Scott

Y’all know how much we love Bucknell weddings! They really do make us feel like we are surrounded by friends and family (because, really we are! ;) )! Erin lived just down the hall from me during my first year at Bucknell! She was fun, sweet, and always willing to lend a hand! Over the years at Bucknell, we spent a lot of time together volunteering with Habitat for Humanity- in fact, we even spent a spring break building a house in Hawaii together! You can only imagine my excitement when we received her email that she was getting married and she wanted us to photograph it!

Scott is also a Bucknellian! Sadly, our paths never really crossed on campus (and I am still trying to figure out how that is possible! ;) )! But that just made us all the more excited to meet him! Honestly, we could not have been more wowed by Scott! He is truly one of the nicest guys and we could not be more excited that Erin and Scott found each other! They are the perfect match!

Erin and Scott’s wedding was super special. Yes, we were surrounded by AMAZING Bucknellians (many of whom we have not seen since graduating- but it felt like just yesterday!)! But our favorite part of the day was watching Erin and Scott soak it all in! Let’s be honest, wedding days fly by and often times it can go by without even realizing the reality of it all. But there were so many moments during Erin and Scott’s wedding that you could just see them soak it in! Their first look was AMAZING. They took the time to admire one another and share with each other how AMAZING they looked. They shared letters with each other and just enjoyed every single moment of the whole entire day together!

What a special blessing to be a part of! We loved every minute of it and are so honored to have been able to capture their incredibly beautiful day! Erin and Scott, we are so happy for you! Congratulations! Can’t wait for you to get back from your AMAZING honeymoon so that we can share all of the pics with you! (However, don’t rush the honeymoon, we can only imagine how beautiful it is in Bora Bora and Moorea!) Happy travels friends!

 

 

Chesapeake Bay Beach Club Wedding – Liz and Jordan

This is a beauty, my friends! We could not be more excited to share Liz and Jordan’s Chesapeake Bay Beach Club wedding with you! Yes, it is incredibly gorgeous and every single person in the bridal party could have been models! ;) But, the most beautiful thing about this wedding is Liz and Jordan and their AMAZING love!

Liz and Jordan are two of the sweetest people we have ever met! Honestly. They are so kind and fill our hearts with so much joy when we are around them! Being able to witness their love come together in such a beautiful celebration on what would have been Liz’s grandparent’s 56th wedding anniversary is truly a gift. I know in every ounce of my body that Liz’s grandparents were shining down on them on Sunday and they could not be more excited to share their Anniversary with such a beautiful couple (inside and out!)!

(We were so incredibly honored to capture one of Liz and Jordan’s last moments together with their grandparents. This sweet moment was during their engagement session at their grandparent’s home and it is a moment we will hold close to our hearts always. It reminds us of how incredibly important it is to soak in every single minute and document the sweet moments that we will miss one day.) 

Liz and Jordan, you have such a special couple shining down on your love every single minute of every single day! What a beautiful gift. We are so grateful for the opportunity to capture this incredibly special time in your lives! You two are a gift to us and everyone who witnesses your beautiful love! Thank you for sharing it with us! We love you guys!

Cambridge Maryland Hyatt Wedding – Marianne and Josh

Last night we had the honor of sharing Marianne and Josh’s wedding photos with them for the first time during their reveal party! Surrounded by Marianne’s family, we gathered around the TV. Normally when I would be excited and a little nervous (I always get a little nervous when sharing the photos for the first time because I want our couples to love them just as much as we do!), this time I just felt at home. I didn’t have nerves, just a big ol’ excited smile on my face the whole entire 38 minute slideshow! ;)

Ever since we met Marianne and Josh and this AMAZING family back in May 2013 for Kait and Adam’s wedding, we have felt that comfort and incredible joy in celebrating with them! We have always felt 110% a part of their family as they welcomed us with open arms! We have loved every minute with them and are truly grateful to have them in our lives!

It is such an honor to be able to capture these memories and know that Marianne and Josh will always have a reminder of that special love that they share and the AMAZING love that surrounds them always! I would say Marianne and Josh are pretty blessed to have their parents as such beautiful examples of love in their lives! Their love radiates in every way and certainly leaves an impact on everyone that surrounds them! ;) It has touched our hearts and that is a gift that we will always appreciate more than words can say!

Marianne and Josh- your beautiful hearts are truly special! Thanks for the opportunity to capture your AMAZING wedding weekend! We loved every minute of it and can’t wait for the next opportunity to celebrate with you and your incredible families! Love you guys!

Loch Raven Reservoir Engagement – Sara and Matt

We absolutely LOVE when our couples take us to places we have never explored before! Loch Raven Reservoir is right in Baltimore… we have driven right by it about 50 times and have never explored it! But Sara and Matt gave us an extra special reason to go check it out!

Sara and Matt’s Loch Raven Reservoir engagement session was so much fun! They are such a fun loving couple who would do anything in the world for each other! They have a happiness about them that literally would light up a room- or two or three! ;)

We had so much fun taking in the natural beauty of the area along with a couple who falls right into that description well! Sara and Matt, thank you for sharing your beautiful Sunday evening with us! We loved every minute of it!

 

Chesapeake Bay Engagement Session – Katie and Danny

We just finished editing Katie and Danny’s Chesapeake Bay Engagement Session and literally could not wait to share them! (I had planned to blog them on Monday… but HAPPY WEEKEND to you! You get to see them now! ;) )!

These photos bring such a HUGE smile to our faces! It could be the beautiful scenery at Terrapin Beach Park on the Eastern Shore, the super fun bikes, or the beach and the water… you name it, all of those things make our hearts smile! But the biggest thing that makes us smile about this engagement session is the beautiful happiness that radiates from Katie and Danny!!!! They are happy and THAT makes us happy!
