Washington DC Wedding | Jen and Kevin

From Maid of Honor & wedding guest to Kevin’s Jefferson Memorial Proposal to their Old Town Alexandria engagement session to their Washington DC wedding… and soon to be Sister and Brother In Law at Stephanie and Greg’s upcoming wedding… these two are pretty super special in our hearts! As we prepared to photograph Jen and Kevin’s Washington DC wedding, we took a moment to reflect on all of the happiness we have had the honor to capture in their lives! What an incredible blessing that has been to us!

We have absolutely loved witnessing and documenting Jen and Kevin’s love story! They light up in such an incredible way when they are around each other and they sure know how to fill a room with smiles! ;)… (Jen, that was not meant to be a dentist pun, but it came out and I kind of love it! ;) )!!!

We could not be more excited to share Jen and Kevin’s wedding day with you! It was classy and elegant and full of fun! We spent the day playing with them in DC… seriously we strolled along M Street in Georgetown, walked through the National Mall with thousands of kids wishing Jen and Kevin the best (SO HAPPY! ;) ), wandered into the Subway for a unique wedding day experience that is certainly unforgettable, journeyed down to the Capitol for some epic night time photos, and then finished off the evening with some bowling at Pinstripe! YES, Jen and Kevin planned their day to do exactly what they wanted to do on their wedding day and they made it happen! ;) We could not be more happy for them!

Jen and Kevin, thank you for sharing your love with us! We are so honored to have been there to capture so many pieces of your love story! Your love has grown in front of our eyes and we can’t wait to celebrate with you as it continues to grow! You two are AMAZING and hold an incredibly special place in our hearts! Congratulations friends!

St. Michaels Engagement Session | Marianne and Josh

Engagement, Love, Stories Documented // 10th June 2014

St. Michaels is one of our all time favorite places… and we are always up for an Eastern Shore adventure! Seriously, the Eastern Shore steals a piece of our hearts every time we are there! ;) But this time… this visit to the Eastern Shore was extra special. This trip we were surrounded by friends and we just happened to be photographing their engagement session at the same time! ;)

We met Marianne and Josh last May during Kait and Adam’s wedding celebration! You may remember us raving about the Fun House and how we immediately felt like family with these guys!?! Well Marianne just happens to be the super fun sister of Kait! So basically that means she is like a sister to us too! And Josh… we go way back! Way back to some super fun times in that fun house! ;) We like to call him family too! ;)

We could not be more excited to celebrate with “the family” again this year! ;) Marianne and Josh, thanks for such a fun St. Michaels Engagement Session! We love you guys!

Side note: We started their engagement session off by making friends at the St. Michaels Winery, Eastern Shore Brewing, and the Lyon Distilling Company! So much fun!! Definitely check them out when you find yourself in St. Michaels next!

Ohh and we found ourselves at Justine’s Ice Cream Parlour too! Because, why not?!? ;)

Blue Bell PA Wedding | Samantha and Rameez

From the moment Samantha showed us a picture of her dress during their engagement session in San Francisco, we knew Samantha and Rameez’s wedding was going to be absolutely gorgeous. Their Blue Bell PA wedding celebration exceeded every expectation we ever could have imagined!

The weather was absolutely gorgeous… and just how we dodged the rain drops in San Francisco, we dodged them again (besides just a few drops you will see in the 1 pic below!) during their beautiful day! The clouds provided some absolutely incredible light and Samantha and Rameez provided some absolutely incredible love! ;)

It was such an honor to be a part of Samantha and Rameez’s wedding weekend celebration! From the Mehndi Ceremony to the wedding, we were in awe of joyful happiness surrounding us!

Samantha and Rameez, you two are stunning! Truly. Your love is so beautiful and so much fun to capture! Thank you for sharing your happiness with us!

We are so excited to share Samantha and Rameez‘s wedding celebrations with you over the next few days… starting with this colorful beauty! ;)

Samantha and Rameez began their wedding celebration with a Mehndi Ceremony! This was our very first Mehndi Ceremony we photographed and we LOVED it! It was full of so much energy and so many beautiful colors! ;) We love experiencing new cultural traditions! I even received my first henna during this celebration! So much fun! What a perfect way to start off Samantha and Rameez’s wedding celebration in PA! Wait till you see their incredibly gorgeous wedding!!!

Long Island Wedding | Katie and Ben

Although it was over two years ago now, I still remember receiving the email from Katie’s mom that Katie was getting married! The picture I had of Katie in my mind was from when I used to babysit her and her younger brothers. She was still about 12 in my mind! ;) I can’t even tell you how excited I was to hear from Katie just a few months later asking us to photograph her wedding! What an honor! Katie and Ben’s Long Island wedding took place on Fire Island… just a boat ride away from Sayville, NY. As we boarded the ferry for their wedding weekend celebration, it hit me. We were on a boat to capture the AMAZING memories of this incredible time in Katie and Ben’s lives. Their closest family and friends would soon be taking that same ferry to come together to celebrate! How incredibly special to be able to photograph this beautiful young lady that I grew up with and her handsome groom that brings out the biggest smile in Katie on a super quaint island in NY? We are certainly blessed and so incredibly honored to be a part of this celebration! Katie and Ben, we are beyond happy for you! Your smiles, especially when you are together, are endless and absolutely beautiful! Thank you for the opportunity to capture this AMAZING time in your lives! It means more than you know! Congratulations!!! The logistics of Katie and Ben’s wedding have been in the works for over 2 years! Planning a wedding on an island does come with a lot of challenges, especially when working with island time! ;) But Katie and Ben pulled it off without a hitch with the help of so many incredibly AMAZING people – especially Katie’s uncles, Greg and Rob! Greg and Rob, your hospitality was beyond AMAZING! Thank you for making us feel at home and going above and beyond to make Katie and Ben’s weekend so incredibly special!
