When we were making plans for Sarah and Seth’s Washington DC engagement session, we had planned to stroll through their old neighborhood of DuPont Circle! However, the weather had different plans for us! A huge snow storm came through the day before and there were windchill warnings that told us we better go with Plan B. And I am pretty sure Plan B was exactly where we were suppose to be the whole time!
This cozy winter engagement session at Sarah and Seth’s home was absolutely perfect! It was so warm and comfortable… which pretty much perfectly describes Sarah and Seth too! ;) We had so much fun hanging out with them, soaking in Seth’s amazing fire-building skills (with Sarah’s help, of course), and playing in the snow in their backyard! So much fun!
We can’t wait to celebrate with Sarah and Seth in Annapolis in just a few weeks!!!
This New Year’s Eve was a rockin’ one for sure! We had the honor of spending it in Hershey, PA (the sweetest place on earth) celebrating the AMAZING love of Jess and Matt!
It takes a pretty special couple for us to never even think twice about the fact that we would be working on New Year’s Eve! Over a year ago, we received a note from Jess’ sister Steph, whom we had the honor of photographing a few years ago and then again this past November for the AMAZING Life Escape!!!, and we could not have been more excited about the opportunity to be a part of her sister’s wedding! Steph and Nate are absolutely incredible and we just knew that Jess and Matt would be too!
And that they are! Seriously, Jess and Matt have this love that just pours out of them! Their love is contagious and fills any room that they enter!
It was such a gift for us to be a part of their wedding at the Hotel Hershey on New Year’s Eve! To be surrounded by so much love is the perfect way to kick off the new year!

Ahh friends! You have no idea how excited we are to be sharing this beautifully special wedding with you! We have been quiet over here on the blog… but life has certainly not been quiet!!! But in the meantime, we are super pumped to be back to blogging with Jessie and Michael’s 1920’s Art Deco Inspired Wedding!
This extra special wedding is actually my cousin’s wedding!!! Michael married his amazing wife back in October! We welcomed Jessie into the family with a super intimate and super special wedding at the Melange Bed & Breakfast in Hendersonville, NC!
The day was magical. The celebration was sweet. And it was exactly the way Jessie and Michael dreamed it to be! It was such an incredible honor to be there to celebrate and document their day! As I was going back through the images and reliving their day, I was reminded of how meaningful every single moment of the day was! Their smiles say it all! I am pretty sure I have never seen Michael’s smile so big… and for that, Jessie… thank you!!! ;)
As photographers and cousins… these photos will forever warm our hearts and have special meaning to us! Jessie and Michael, thank you for the opportunity to share in your love and document it in a way that will hopefully always remind you of how truly magical the love is that you share! Ok, if you have ever been around me when I see a bulldog, you know that I kind of freak out a bit! I get super excited and I might just scream out loud! ;) It doesn’t happen with any other type of dog, just bulldogs. I am a little obsessed… or just really in love with them! ;)
You have no idea how excited I was for Kristin and Danny’s photo session! Yes, I could not wait to see Kooper again and to meet their newest edition, Khloe! ;) But, I can honestly say I was even more excited to see Kristin and Danny again! It has been so long since their dreamy Punta Cana destination wedding and a hug from them was long overdue! ;)
It is safe to say that the smile on my face during and after their session was definitely HAPPY!!! So grateful for such AMAZING couples in our lives and their sweet sweet bulldogs that bring out the best smiles in all of us! ;)
These two! Ohh my goodness! Sarah and Eddie are so much fun! They gave us the most AMAZING tour of Boston while looking absolutely incredible! ;) We had so much fun wandering around some of the most beautiful places in Boston!
We are such huge fans of exploring cities with the locals! And so often as we stroll around a new place, we wish that we had a couple that we could photograph in the beautiful places we come across! Fortunately for us, Sarah and Eddie made that happen for us in Boston! ;)
Sarah and Eddie’s smiles and happiness glow in such an AMAZING way! My cheeks definitely hurt from smiling so much with them! Love when that happens!
