Hotel du Pont Wedding – Sarah and Eddie

Sarah and Eddie! Ahhh! These two! They are two people with an energy that we wish we could bottle up and bring with us everywhere we go! (Or, maybe they could just come along with us everywhere we go?!? Maybe?! ;) ) They have hearts of GOLD and family surrounding them that literally light up the room!

As Sarah and Eddie prepared for their wedding celebration, they focused on what was most important to them! Celebrating their love and the love around them! When describing their table markers that were pictures from their family member’s weddings, they said, “We want to have a nod to the ‘village’ it takes to have a happy and long-lasting marriage. Without our family and their ideals, commitment and love, we wouldn’t be embarking on this journey together in such an excited place.” Ahhh! Amen to that! Seriously, we just love them! Did I mention they took the time on their wedding day to stop by an assisted living facility to see their 99 year old Great Grandmother who could not make it to the wedding at the last minute. Their love runs deep and that is what a wedding celebration is all about!

Sarah and Eddie definitely started their married lives off in an excited place! In fact, they were so excited, it was like they did not even notice it was raining outside! It rained like we have never seen rain before… and it lasted ALL DAY! It wasn’t just a shower here and there. It poured all day! And I am happy to report those raindrops were absolutely FULL OF LOVE!!! So much love!

Sarah and Eddie, thank you for being such a BEAUTIFUL example of love to us, and everyone around you! Thank you for recognizing the AMAZING love in your lives and celebrating that! You two literally light up our hearts and we are so incredibly excited for you as you embark on this next chapter of your lives together!

St. Lucia Destination Wedding | Tracy and Joe

Photographing weddings is a complete honor for us! Every single wedding we are blessed to witness and capture is so incredibly special in our hearts! However, photographing destination weddings always seem to add on an additional level of responsibility and humble gratitude in our hearts! To be asked to travel with a couple to a destination of their choice with a few of their family and friends is such an honor that we do not take lightly! Our job is to capture memories for the couple to be able to relive this very special moment in their lives together… but it is also our responsibility to document and capture their celebration in a way that they can share with so many of their family and friends!… With Destination Weddings, that is often a large group of family and friends who could not make the trip with them and are extra excited to celebrate!

We spent a few days in St. Lucia with Tracy and Joe and a few of their closest family and friends for their St. Lucia Destination Wedding! We had so much fun celebrating with them and sharing in their excitement to finally take this next step in their relationship together! We witnessed a heartfelt ceremony and captured memories that they surely will never forget! There is something magical about being in such a gorgeous location and hearing the ocean waves crash behind you as you exchange wedding rings and say your vows! It was truly magical.

Tracy and Joe… you are right… this celebration was for YOU and it was the perfect way for you to celebrate your love together! We are so proud of you for following your hearts and starting your marriage in a way that speaks so much to you! Thank you so so so much for the opportunity to be there with you throughout this incredibly AMAZING time in your lives together!!! We are so honored to have been able to capture the memories for you to relive over and over and over again for many many years ahead and for your family and friends who are just as excited as we are to be cheering you on in your marriage and celebrating right along with you!!!

Tidewater Inn Easton Wedding – Katie and Danny

During the best man speeches at Katie and Danny’s Tidewater Inn Easton Wedding, Danny’s brother, Patrick, described Danny as someone who always sees the best in everything! He is the kind of guy who would describe every meal he eats as the best meal he has ever enjoyed. Patrick went on to say, he knows that Danny will wake up every day and be grateful for his wife, Katie… the most beautiful girl he has ever seen (even more beautiful each and every day!)!

There is no doubt in our mind that is in fact the truth! I overheard Danny quite a few times on their wedding day describing how happy he was to be marrying Katie and how absolutely gorgeous she is. How happy is that? Their smiles pretty much sum up their happiness together! ;) They radiate when they are together and their excitement to be married exploded from their hearts!

Katie and Danny are two beautiful people who know how to have fun! I kept thinking over and over again during the reception that if we ever are in need of some fun, we are calling Katie and Danny! ;)

Katie and Danny… thank you for making our hearts (and the hearts of every single person around you) smile! We love you guys and are so excited for you as you begin this next adventure of your lives together! Thank you for the incredible honor of capturing your love during this AMAZING time in your lives!!!

Baltimore Inner Harbor Wedding – Michelle and Chris

Michelle and Chris’ Baltimore Inner Harbor Wedding was such a treat to be a part of! For over a year, Michelle and Chris have patiently and enjoyably planned the wedding of their dreams! They knew they wanted to celebrate their love while sharing their favorite city with their closest family and friends! I would say they did that and SO MUCH MORE.

Baltimore was certainly shining bright that day! The blue skies, the warmth of the sun, the slight breeze… it was one of the most beautiful days we have ever witnessed in Baltimore! But that was only the beginning.

Michelle and Chris are two of the most genuinely wholehearted people we have ever had the pleasure of meeting and their wedding reflected that completely! As the Pirate Ship passed by in the middle of their ceremony (YES, that definitely happened! ;) Only in Baltimore!!!), Michelle and Chris read their vows to each other. It was incredibly beautiful and drew all of our hearts in! As their guests gathered for an outdoor cocktail hour on the Frederick Douglass – Isaac Myers Maritime Park pier, I found myself thinking, “this would be an AWESOME wedding to be a guest at!”

There is something incredibly special about Michelle and Chris’s love that spilled out among all of their family and friends on their wedding day. It is real, authentic, and super heartfelt love! Celebrating that love, on the waterfront pier, on that beautiful day in Baltimore, is exactly where we wanted to be!

Michelle and Chris… thank you for sharing your love of Baltimore with us and all of your guests! It made us fall in love with our city all over again! ;) From hanging out at the Quintessential Gentlemen with the guys before the wedding, to walking a few blocks through Harbor East to the wedding with the ladies… we LOVED every single thing about your carefully thought out wedding day! Thank you so much for the opportunity to be a part of it! Capturing your beautiful love was such a gift to us! Thank you!!! Wishing you so so so much love today and always!

Florence, Italy Wedding – Casey and Alex

Casey and Alex are adventurers. They are dreamers and doers and have the stories to prove it! ;) They had a vision for their wedding day that included AMAZING food, good friends, and an intimate marriage celebration! They wanted to create an opportunity to share their love of adventure with their closest family and friends! And they did just that… and so much more!

Casey and Alex made their dream wedding day a reality! They listened to their hearts and planned the wedding that was absolutely perfectly them in Fiesole, Italy! Their closest family and friends traveled from around the world (literally… New Zealand, Germany, Mexico, Alaska, Arkansas, Alabama, etc.!). They gathered around the romantic candlelit tables at Castello di Vincigliata to enjoy the most delicious meal we have ever enjoyed at a wedding! Multiple courses of the finest tasting Italian menu was perfectly paired with wine! The dinner lasted about three hours and it was DELIGHTFUL! It was so AMAZING to take a moment to look around and see Casey and Alex’s closest family and friends enjoying conversation and relaxing in celebration of Casey and Alex’s marriage! That is definitely one thing about the Italian culture we would love to bring back to the states! ;) Why not have a 3 hour delicious meal and then dance the night away into the wee hours of the morning?!?! ;) No need to rush… their reception ended at 1:30 a.m.! It was a good night for sure!!!

Ohh and did we mention the caterers made the wedding cake right in front of the guests about 5 minutes before they served it?!?! How AMAZING is that?! Such a treat and incredible experience to witness!

Casey and Alex… your wedding was truly dreamy! You got married in a CASTLE in Italy surrounded by your closest family and friends who were there to celebrate YOU and your marriage! How incredible is that?!? Thank you for dreaming that dream and making it a reality! We love your adventurous spirit and we can’t wait to hear all of the AMAZING stories to come from your adventures ahead! We love you guys and are SO GRATEFUL that you included us in capturing your memories! Thank you! Happy Honeymooning in Paris!!! ;) XOXO!
